There is a popular adage that says, “It takes a village to train a child”.

The same goes for any idea, project or business.

It’s not enough to have a business plan or idea, implementing this idea into a profitable business will require the input of many other persons and teams.

 

The thought of Mobilecooks was birthed in 2015, however, with brainstorming, brainwriting, research, pilot surveys and iterating of how the platform should look like, Mobilecooks was finally launched in January 2020.

Our aim is to assist individuals and businesses with vetted chefs that provide food preparation service in their own spaces.

Our goal is to reach out to people both old and young all across not just Nigeria but Africa as a whole and eventually gain entry into the western world, that’s why our services are not restricted to African meals alone but also intercontinental dishes.

 

Our chefs are professionally trained with the certificates to show and the needed skill set.

Our services are not limited only to cooking; we have other services such as Hire a chef which makes it possible for individuals and businesses to have their personal chefs available to them at all times.

Our services also include Food alterations where you can demand for your meals to be cooked to your specifications.

Mobilecooks has also proffered a solution to health-concerned fellows and the elderly who have prescribed meals that they can’t cook themselves; our chefs are trained and can provide meals that work with specific health challenges thereby guaranteeing a stronger, healthier life span.

Included in our services is Food delivery where your food can be delivered to your doorstep in few minutes.

Since our launch in 2020, we have been able to provide jobs for over 500 chefs, we have generated nothing less than 3,000 liters of fresh food and we have served more than 500 clients.

 

WHY WE NEED YOUR INVESTMENT

For any idea, project or business to succeed it must be constantly nurtured.

To nurture a business to growth, you need money to fund the ideas.

 

It is our aim at Mobilecooks to have matched at least 1000 chefs to jobs by the end of the year 2023.

We plan to aid the onboarding and verification of more chefs as we have manually onboarded at least 500 chefs already, but with more investment we can achieve the onboarding and vetting of more than 5000 chefs.

We are also looking at building a Food Delivery Mobile Application that can make us more reachable and our services easily accessible.

 

Thus far,

We have created over 350 jobs. With more investment we can create as much as 2000 jobs in a shorter period.

Also, since our inception, we have been able to process over 20 million naira in transactions, with access to more funds; we can process as much as 400 million in turn over.

We care about social impact and giving back to the society that’s why 2% of our profit goes to feeding underprivileged children.

We have plans of expanding our network to other countries starting with African countries but we can’t do this without investments.

 

We aim at providing a safe space for both old and young, black and white where every food choice and cultural difference is respected and admired. Our plan is to create a society where everyman is welcome, every culture is valid and every choice respected.
